Since the sixies the artist has explored various botanical subjects. Below is a sample of her work between 1969 and 1999.  Growing up on a small berry farm outside of Aurora, Oregon where she spent the days of her childhood in the garden, picking berries, and canning fruit from the numerous trees on the family farm, her interest in nature was established at a young age.  Her first science project was an exploration of the wild plants in the area and the subject of her first drawing exercises.
